SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE WHERE YOU NEED IT MOST.
Wore these only a handful of times. The sole Jean making noise like I was wearing a pair of flip flops. Only worn indoors. The noise with each step drives you nuts. A plus is that they are light weight and had a wider fit. Wish I did not have to return them or the sole issue did not exist. Sounded like the plate in the sole was making the noise. Did not have long enough to comment on durability.
they were comfortable for the first little while, but the sponginess quickly went away. not bad for very light duties but not good for medium or heavy duty work..unless you add insoles. the treads and outside weathered well
Require better insoles
I purchased this shoes for work. The shoe construction is well made and they are holding up thus far. These shoes are disigned for low-level duties and activities were you want the comforts of a sneaker and the security of a steel reinforced shoe. However, the insoles are completely flawed and insufficient as they only last 5 hours. I had to purchase a new pair of insoles. This is completely unacceptable for a pair of shoes that were less than 1 day old. I would like Mark's work warehouse to compensate me for this added unnecessary expense.
Not sure how people can say true to size. I typically wear a 9.5 and I have these in an 8.5. Other than that, they're comfortable and lightweight. Not sure why marks doesn't sell them in the normal D width rather than the EE width that few people require. It makes the shoe unnecessarily sloppy. Outsole should be a full layer of harder material to preserve and better protect the soft, lightweight foam midsole.
