SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE WHERE YOU NEED IT MOST.
Light weight, comfortable, excellent traction
I'm about to buy my second pair of these shoes. I work in a medium duty, indoor warehouse area. My first pair lasted about 40-weeks and they were solid performers. The sole is durable and wore evenly. I wear them in conjunction with orthotic inserts (planter fasciitis) and hey're as light and comfortable as you could hope for, in a safety shoe. Their failing point was the mesh area around the sole. It wasn't long before it began to crack and come apart. Still a good shoe for the money, but I'm sure they would have gone a full year, were it not for the outer construction failure.
Good price for a good product
Couldn't be more happy for the price. With my experience on this shoe the outsole and toe cap comes apart after heavy use. My first pair lasted me 34 months with regular use and my second pair lasted me 23 months with heavy use. However they have updated this shoe with this new 'arch support' soles which I am not a fan of because it doesn't fit well for me personally. I went with Timberland Pro Mid-Cut Powertrain for my next pair which I like even better for many reasons and would recommend it over this because for $20 more its worth it.
Extremely comfortable and supportive for flat feet
I would like to say that I tried on over 20 different shoes at marks. This was by far the best most comfortable and supportive safety shoe and lightweight. I wear a size 13 and use an orthotic insert and had to go up to a size 14. I used to wear the Terra Spider shoe for 8 years and recently noticed that they are no longer comfortable, cause me foot, hip and back pain. It seems they are made of a cheaper quality maybe a different factory.
Comfortable but didn't last long
Was buying work stuff here since 2006. Can't complain about all the shoes I bought over the years. I brought this one in the summer and didn't even last. Just use it for light duty. Disappointed with this shoe.
